Reading Over Winter Break

Students will meet with their Home Program Reading Teachers on Wednesday, December16th, for the final time before winter break. At that time, they will receive a Holiday Reading Project form. All students are encouraged to participate in the Holiday Reading Project by recording the minutes that they read in any book other than their school text. Recreational reading over the break provides an opportunity for students to practice and polish all the skills they have worked so diligently to acquire since the school year began.

If you wish your child to have continuing reading assignments over break, please let the reading teacher know by filling out a form that will come home shortly in students’ reading folders.
