A little out of the way ... A lot out of the ordinary!! New Vistas Academy - 30th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting Dear Parents, Welcome back to school. We trust you had a wonderful time with your families during our winter holiday. As we look to 2010, we are so grateful for your presence here at New Vistas. We began this school with the vision of a community where we knew “what matters” and all of our time, attention and talents would be focused on building this community of learners. The producer, George Lucas, expressed his belief in “what matters” this way: “My teachers struggled to help me grow. I try to be aware of what I say in films, because all of us who make movies are teachers with very loud voices. But we will never match the teacher who is able to whisper in a child’s ear.” We consider you all our valued friends and families and never take for granted your trust and faith in us. Our wonderful teachers, our talented aides and staff join with your families in a chorus of “whispered voices” which will shape the success of our students and the future of our world.
