	A little out of the way ... A lot out of the ordinary!! New Vistas Academy - 30th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting Dear Parents, Welcome spring! We hope you are enjoying, as are we, the extra early morning minutes of daylight. While we always enjoy coming to school each day, the sunlight and beautiful sunrises help make the commute even more pleasant. The sunrise hours always serve to remind us how lucky we are to have another precious day ahead of us. As we start the coffee pot, (decaf of course!), turn on the lights, and greet teachers returning for another day, we are filled with the enormity of the importance of what we do here. Someone once said “A school is four walls with tomorrow inside.” Isn’t that an amazing thought? April is a busy month around here, one of our busiest. STEP testing will take place early in the month. One of the hallmarks of our NVA program is our commitment to using testing to track individual progress and to plan for success. We celebrate the growth our students make, as unique, precious and talented individuals. It’s a busy and exciting time for us! Maybe it’s the gift of years, but getting to come to school and to be a part of your families… there isn’t anything we’d rather do. Carol, Eleanor and LoisJune DID YOU KNOW?
